The chaotic aftermath of an alien attack has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign against the occupying alien force. Survivors of an alien attack on earth gather together to fight for their lives and fight back. A monument to mediocrity, it never gets good enough to justify the investment of time, no matter how hopeful you could be… I can't believe Spielberg is involved in this. It's just the worst series I 've ever watched, and I've watched quite a few now!

The premise is promising, but there it gets stuck. Then throughout the entire series we never feel the danger and fear like something real, Mason and his boys are untouchable, and so are the rest of main characters. The finale is far from exciting in any level…

Anyway, a series to forget and to never watch again, unless you lose a bet or something like that! This is Steven Spielberg? How? Where? The show is full of clichés. A little bit of War of the Worlds, too much Stargate Universe-like do you feel me-crap mixed with a lot of we love all children. I find the plot uninteresting, pathetic and without any innovations. There's no charm or wit, no sarcasm or cynicism in absurd situations, nothing that would make you laugh while still putting the finger on the main topic: The worth of a family during a major crisis. Unfortunately, this crisis is met with a lot of cheap psychology crap full of clichés that made me often feel like a jackass that's currently being indoctrinated. For the health's sake of the viewers, I do hope there won't be another season.
